Mill Race Center and its partners provide a number of services that enable older adults experiencing physical and cognitive health problems to remain a part of the community. The center is very accessible to 50 plus residents thanks to the ColumBUS transit hub located just inside the entrance to the Mill Race Center parking lot. Mill Race Center, Inc. and Just Friends Adult Day Services partner to offer specialized “door-to-door” transportation that augments services provided by ColumBUS.

Just Friends is an excellent service with stimulating activities for dependent seniors and much needed respite to their caregivers.

Other important support services available through Mill Race Center include:

• Outreach to seniors confined to their homes

• Volunteer Medical Transportation

• Information and referral to many community services provided by Aging and Disability Resource Center staff

• Assistance in completing tax returns through AARP VITA volunteers
