Research increasingly demonstrates that a strong network of friends and family is one of the most important ingredients to successful aging. Adding to our friendship circle later in life is especially important as we experience loss of key people in our lives.

Surveys of Mill Race Center participants have consistently indicated that fully 92% have made new friends as a result of participation in the wide variety of center programs. Many programs are on-site, while others, such as golf, swimming, volleyball, and educational programs take advantage of a number of facilities throughout the community.
